We were asked to provide a bridging loan to enable the purchase of this former car showroom, including derelict offices, in South West London. Our 6-month bridging loan enabled the developer to buy the premises and submit a planning application for conversion of the site into nine flats, comprising six two-bed duplex apartments, split across ground and basement floors, with three one-bed apartments above. The planning application was approved without modification, and we then provided a replacement development loan for the subsequent build, which is expected to take between nine and twelve months.
