We purchased this house as a development project for ourselves, back in May. It had been owned by a family since the 1940's, and had never been significantly updated since. Whilst it was an amazing time-warp of a building, it was no longer really useable as a home. With a park and good schools on the doorstep, we knew it was a great location and could be turned into a desirable house. Over the course of about six months, we stripped it back to brick, extended out the back and into the loft, and bought it all up to date, turning it into a four bed, two bathroom family home. This was a great first development project for the firm and sold without us needing to put it on the market.
