This project was a good example of our flexible, bespoke funding approach. Back in 2021 we were approached by a developer who we had worked with several times before, and who was looking for development finance to complete the construction of three houses, sited on a disused light industrial unit in the town of Bargoed, in the Rhymney Valley. The facility was put in place and, once the houses were complete, it was amended to allow the developer to move onto the next phase, again using Z2 for funding.
Phase 2, seen here, repurposed a building that had formally been used as an engineering facility, stripping out the inside and reconfiguring the building into eight self-contained apartments. These were built-out during the course of 2022 and were all pre-sold before the site was complete.
