Renovation of a large HMO in Swansea

The second Swansea HMO that we have been involved in, both with the same, very experienced, developer. This project involved the purchase and renovation of a run-down HMO above a shop in what used to be a pub. The HMO renovation was fairly straightforward, and then followed by the conversion of the shop into a single apartment. Z2 provided finance for both the purchase and renovation of both the HMO and the shop. The project took approximately 18 months and the developer refinanced into a buy-to-let mortgage, to add the property to their existing letting portfolio.
